Below are my strange motorcycle helmet picks for 2022, the ones that made me stop scrolling, laugh out loud, or say, “Wait is that real?”.
I started the year with 13 contenders, which I found throughout the year, then whittled it down to the 9 strangest motorcycle helmets worth talking about. Why nine? Because everyone does a Top 10 and a Top 11 is too much work.

Some of these are novelty designs, and some are legit, DOT/ECE-rated helmets with wild styling. As always: fit, certification, and visibility matter more than looks so treat this list as inspiration first, shopping list second.
