motorcycle recall and safety list for ijustwant2ride.com

A new round of U.S. motorcycle recalls has been posted for September 2026, covering selected Rewaco three-wheelers and Can-Am motorcycles. The problems involve rear shock absorbers that may loosen and touchscreen instrument clusters that may freeze, reset, or go blank. If one of these machines is in your garage, check the VIN before the next ride—because surprises belong on the road, not in your suspension or dashboard.

Quick Answer: Which Motorcycles Are Recalled?

Short version: Rewaco recall 26V596000 affects certain 2024–2026 three-wheeled motorcycles with a rear-shock connection that may loosen. Can-Am recall 26V575000 affects certain 2024–2027 models with touchscreen clusters that may fail. Repairs or software updates are free. U.S. owners should use the official NHTSA motorcycle recall VIN lookup to confirm whether a specific motorcycle is included.

This article covers recalls announced in the United States during the last 30 days; there is no way I could cover the whole world. Global manufacturing means a recall announced in one country may also apply elsewhere, so riders outside the USA should check the recall authority for their country. This is not a definitive list—when in doubt, check your VIN and contact the manufacturer or an authorized dealer.
