A Route 66 Motorcycle Stop We Had to Make
We did not plan this stop on our motorcycle ride to the National H.O.G. Rally and Full Throttle Rally in Branson, Missouri. But when the signs for the Uranus Fudge Factory & General Store started popping up along Route 66, we knew we had to pull over. Sometimes the road tells you where to stop. Sometimes the road says, “There is fudge in Uranus.” Who am I to argue with the road?
The Uranus Fudge Factory is also one of the Harley Owners Group 15 for 2026 ride challenges, which gave us another excuse to stop. Not that we needed much of one. A weird roadside attraction, handmade fudge, and ice cream? That is pretty much a complete sentence.
What Is the Uranus Fudge Factory?
The Uranus Fudge Factory & General Store in St. Robert, Missouri, is a classic Route 66 roadside attraction with handmade fudge, ice cream, mini golf, photo ops, and enough jokes to keep every immature adult fully entertained. In other words, we fit right in.
Of course, the main attraction is the fudge. It is made in-house and comes in a wide variety of flavors, from the traditional chocolate and vanilla options to more creative choices like peanut butter swirl and caramel apple. If you have a sweet tooth, this place is dangerous. If you are trying to behave, this place is also dangerous. Basically, Uranus is not where diets go to win.
Why Riders Should Add This Stop to a Route 66 Trip
The Sideshow Museum and Roadside Weirdness

Beyond the sweets, the Uranus Sideshow Museum adds another layer of roadside oddity. We saw exhibits that reminded us of the old traveling carnivals and sideshows, plus a few live oddities, including two-headed turtles. That is not something you see every day on a motorcycle trip, unless your GPS is far more interesting than mine.
A good motorcycle road trip is not just about miles, curves, and fuel stops. It is also about the places you talk about later. The Uranus Fudge Factory is exactly that kind of stop. It is easy to access, funny, memorable, and a good break from the heat and highway miles. If you are riding Route 66 through Missouri, headed toward Branson, or chasing H.O.G. ride challenge stops, this is worth pulling off for.
This stop also connects nicely with our larger ride report from the same trip. If you missed it, read about our motorcycle breakdown before the H.O.G. National Rally in Branson, Missouri. Spoiler alert: the bike contributed its opinions, and they were not helpful.

Final Thoughts from the Saddle
If you are in the area, riding Route 66, heading to Branson, or checking off H.O.G. ride challenge stops, add the Uranus Fudge Factory to your list. It is goofy, tasty, rider-friendly, and exactly the kind of roadside stop that makes a motorcycle trip more than just a line on the map.
